SO. I work in a call center. I sit at a desk ALL DAY. I rarely leave my desk. Sometimes (like this week) we have days of being casual. They, however, will not let us wear tennis shoes on these casual days.

REALLY??

I can't wear tennis shoes? REALLY?

 How do my tennis shoes affect you, REALLY?

If they say NO to Tennis shoes try flip flops, or walking shoes, or running shoes ... unless of course they are really specific ....

I know how you feel tho ... I used to work in a call center and we had the same rules ... sux =(

 I'm sorry... I know exactly how you feel. The BOSS can be so annoying sometime... and on casual day... and on casual day at a call center...

Next time, just come in a hawaiian shirt and flip-flops.

I'm sorry but unless you are playing tennis for your job or some other sport why would you be wearing tennis shoes? I'm one of those that only wears athletic footwear for when I'm doing something that requires it. I don't really think they look professional for the work place.
I'm ready to be flamed for it. I'm wearing my flame retardant undies:laugh:

It is odd. I used to work at a call centre where we couldn't wear certain sandals like flip flops or sports sandals but were allowed to wear leather sandals. This would make sense if there were a business casual dress code but we were allowed to wear running shoes and jeans.

Can you bring them and put them on during lunch and break to walk outside?
