Fish Oil Favs?

I can't stand any type of fish (saltwater, fresh water, shellfish, etc.). I've tried it cooked in all types of ways and still, no dice. I choke down the occasional tilapia, but I'd choose chicken any day of the week if I could.

I've considered taking fish oil (as a supplement) but am terrified at the taste/side effects. Anyone currently taking one they recommend?

I I don't eat fish either and was concerned about a fishy tasting belch. I'm taking large doses of fish oil. I bought the Kirkland brand at Costco and have been taking them for several weeks. I take two-four with meals and keep them in the refrigerator. They do occasionally cause me to belch but I haven't had a 'fishy tasting' belch yet.

I had your same concerns. I bought a bottle of Nutra Sea Fish Oil. It's lemon flavored and I take 1 - 2 tsp per day. I could have swore I would have tasted fish in the oil before I tried it. After trying it, I can best describe it as light, smooth and tastes like absolutely nothing but a hint of lemon. There is absolutely no aftertaste, or even the slightest hint of fish. I'm confident I could chug the entire 152 serving bottle. Roughly 30 bucks.

    That's what I have. It has natural vitamin A & D also.

In general if you can't stand the smell/taste. Put them in the fridge.
