I had an idea to cook a whole chicken in the crockpot tonight so I will have the meat for meals this week . Does anyone else do this and if so, can you give me some ideas on what to make with it?????

    Sadly, I don't own a crockpot anymore... but if I did, I would throw in some baby carrots, broccoli and onions and either some red potatoes or serve the chicken and veggies on a bed of brown rice. Whatever you decide to put with it, I'm sure it will turn out DELICIOUS! :flowerforyou:

    When I cook a whole chicken I like to use the leftover meat for salads, pitas, wraps, stirfrys, soup just about anything that you would normally put chicken in. ENJOY! :tongue:

    I put taco seasoning in it and make tortilla salad bowls..or place it with brown rice
