I am a mom of 2 wonderful kids. I am 27 though. I have the little bit of belly weight from my pregnancies. I like juniors pants and usually wear a 9 in them, but they are so low cut I have a plumber's crack issue and/or when I sit down it will cause my mommy belly to hang over a little bit. I was wondering if anyone has any luck w/ some "misses" jeans that are cute, and a little higher cut that will keep my "muffin top" tucked in. What would a 9 in juniors be in a misses?

I think as a general rule, juniors sizes are odd numbers, womens are even numbers. So if you fit into a 9 in juniors, you'd probably be a 8 or 10. I hope that answers your question.

You would probably need an 8 or 10 in misses. I like Old Navy (The Flirt or Diva style jeans). The Gap have good ones as well.
Good luck. I hate shopping for jeans! :)

I like "Loft" by Ann Taylor, they have great clothes for young women. Do you live in an area with a Stienmart? I love that store.. they carry a cheaper version of Seven for All Mankind brand that is really flattering. They hit right at or an inch or so below the belly button, so it give the tummy more support without looking like mom jeans.

I buy the Arizona brand from Jc Penny's. They are juniors 3,5,7 sizes and they are a bit higher cut.

I used to work at JCP in the misses department, and I always thought their Bisou Bisou collections were always super cute, same with the I *heart* Ronson brand and a few others that they always had together. Also there's a Nicole Miller brand I think it was.. Nicole something or other. Those were pretty cute too. :)
  • Thank you ladies for all your help!!!!
