21 year old trying to shed stress weight

Hello everyone!

This is my first time using anything like this I am a university student who is a black belt in karate ( I havent been practicing since mt sophomore year in college) and every since I stopped my active lifestyle I have not been able to maintain my weight. I have been looking online for something, anything really that could help me reach my goals. I am 5' 7' hispanic and I weight currently 179 pounds my ideal weight which is where i feel best is anywhere from 150-155 lbs. And I have been trying (without exercise) to get healthy again and shed some weight but it has been hard. It's always something, a friend asking me to go eat, getting drinks, birthdays, holidays, excuses ect. But i dont want to make excuses anymore and I want to be at a weight were I feel like myself again. Just writing this makes me feel better and more motivated already. I would love to find people on this site that understand my struggle (all my friends tell me you dont look your weight; but I most certainly see it and feel it everyday) and that would be a good support system! thanks everyone

    You can do it. Try adding in some exercise, I know for me its made a big difference!
