You can NOT spot reduce.
You must eat a calorie deficit, do some cardio, and do some weight training.
Crunches, side bends, etc. will NOT reduce belly fat...0 -
I am fairly strict about my daily calorie intake, just want faster results I guess!! Thanks for the advice.0

Abs and a body starts in the kitchen. Follow the food pyramid, you can't go wrong there. Water! Drink a lot of water. Plain water that is. Water helps with fat loss. Portion control and moderation is the key and please don't deprive yourself of anything that you want to eat, just work it into your daily calories.
I don't know what kind of workouts you are doing, but try incorporating Tae Bo Insane Abs into your routine, you will see a difference. You can view the workout on Collagevideo.com and Youtube. You can find the workout at Walmart, Target, etc.0 -

This.
Annoyingly. I have almost no fat on the rest of me (the sinews are visible on my arms and legs), but handfuls around my waist where I have extra skin from pregnancy (4 years ago).0 -

Are you trying to say that Billy has found some fantastical way to spot reduce? I'm sure it is a great workout and will strengthen the muscles, but it won't make you lose belly fat any faster than other workouts in conjunction with a reduced calorie diet.0 -

Exercise and diet. Be glad that you can't spot reduce fat around the belly and sides. If you lost weight in your belly, but not elsewhere, you'd look like a girl instead of a guy. Your gut fat is the very last fat that will go when losing weight.0 -
Cheers everyine! Appreciate the advice!0

If I were a betting man, I would bet that Harvard Med puts out solid info. So here is their take if you want a long and boring answer to agree with what others have already posted.
