How do I reduce or get rid of my bloatingness. Bloatness. Bloatation. Whatever, how do I get rid of it?
Ever since I pigged out on my birthday on Saturday night, I can't seem to make it go away.
I googled it, but all it does is give me remedies to get rid of it in the long-run, and I want it to go away NOW.
I would also like a Range Rover.
Thank you.

go to the range rover dealership and test drive one...then park it on a slope and let it roll over your most bloatiest part and.....vawaallaaa bloat gets squeezed right out...
or..just drink tons of water and avoid salt0 -
avoid salt and starchy carbs (bread, potatoes, rice, pasta, etc) for a day or so. Get plenty of protein and water. Put lemon in your water. As a last alternative take a senna tea as a mild laxative.0

an MFP-er gave me this suggestion.. I googled it and apparently it does wonders ... so i tried it and it WORKS!!! and NO uncomfortable CRAMPING!
tablespoon of SEA salt in water.. drink it. in the morning before eating anything, stay in your house for at least 2 hours because it'll kick in within the hour.
you can do it any other time of day but it works fastest in the morning0 -
"Bloatation"... hehe. I tend to say "bloating"/"bloatedness" as the noun form of "bloated", but I don't know for sure what's correct.
Anyway, grammar aside, I think bloating/bloatedness is often a symptom of a food intolerance... because if, for instance, you lack the ability to break down lactose or gluten or something, those nutrients are just going to linger in your gastrointestinal system, and bacteria will feed off of them and release gas as a result, and the gas will cause your abdomen to expand.
How long have you had this for though? Am I right that you've only been bloated since Saturday? Or, have you experienced this in the past? Because if this is a food intolerance, it seems odd that it would only have come on in the last few days.
Have you been drinking a lot of water lately? (Having a lot of fluid in your stomach would make your abdomen feel large).
Also, you say you "pigged out" at your birthday party on Saturday. (Happy birthday, by the way!) How much food have you been eating since then; do you think you may still have a lot of food in your stomach? And "party food" is usually low in fibre; do you think that constipation's causing you to feel bloated?0 -
I have IBS and for being bloated etc my Dr gave me Colpermin which is basically peppermint oil, try some peppermint tea thats v. good for poorly tummies0

If you get bloated you are probably eating something you don't tolerate very well. You could also be eating way to much carbs/salt/water. Could be a thyroid thing too. You should really checkpoint EXACTLY how and when you get bloated to pin point the problem as much as possible.
Two things that I find for bloating/water retention is green tea and fresh ginger root.0
