I can't curb cravings!!!

Hello, I'm very new to this website and hoping it will help keep me on track... Here's my problem.
I work out hard and eat very clean for about 2-3 weeks, results are starting to show, and I'm feeling great about myself. Then I start to crave sweets. Chocolate, chewy candy, licorice, anything and everything. Then I start to crave salty things... Chips, popcorn, other snacks like that. I CAN'T CONTROL THEM!!! Then I binge eat and I hate myself for it, and have to start all over again 3 weeks, and 10 pounds later.
Any tips?!

L-GLUTAMINE - now sports... it'll decrease your sugar cravings and help control it, look it up. you can visit www.whateverhealth.com my buddy Daniel gives a little more on this in the supplements tab. Hope this helps0

How many calories are you eating a day? You don't have to cut out everything. Let yourself have some salty or sweet things. Even save calories so you can have a couple of Dove dark chocolate pieces so you don't feel deprived. This has to be a life change and it is unreasonable to think you will never eat sugar or chips again.
BTW, you look fantastic in your pic. Do you really want to lose or just maintain?0 -
Are you drinking enough water? You need to drink half your body weight in ounces. I had the same issues especially around 3 in the afternoon I would get these cravings. When I started drinking more water, I noticed the craving subsiding. I also have tried chewing Extra sugar free gum at my cravings and this helped as well. I hope this helps a little! Hang in there!0

Your cravings could be from your diet. Everyone craves something every once in awhile, but the fact that you have these crazy cravings makes it sound like a diet issue. Would need to see your food diary.0

Thanks for the tips! I do go a little crazy on the diet... Eat too clean and don't allow for any extras. Thats when the cravings come. I'm just afraid that if I have one of those tasty little Dove chocolates or what have you, I'll eat the whole bag (it's been known to happen)
@almost50now - I'm trying to potentially get into figure or bikini competitions, but this is what's holding me back.... My weight fluctuates way too much0 -
Cravings happy to everyone. Have a little of what your craving, you don't have to completely give up everything. This is a lifestyle change, not a diet.0

how many calories are you eating? I think you binge BECAUSE you try to cut out everything...the binges wouldn't happen if you did have maybe 1-2 chocolates a day and planned for them. Try it.0

I set aside calories for cravings. If you have issues with moderation, maybe you could buddy up with someone. If you can't stop at one Dove chocolate, give the bag to a friend and ask them not to allow you to have more than one.0

learn to have a "cheat meal" once a week or so. it's great to stop the cravings and controls you going crazy for a few days in a row with the cravings. I can't take out all the things i really like, cheat meals help out a ton.0
