I am currently at 187. I started out after having my daughter at 245. I have the dream of being about 135, but honestly cant even remember when I ever was that weight. Is it possible for someone to go from 245 to 135?? Like i said I have NO CLUE when I ever was that weight, so I cant even imagine it happening..

    It absolutely is Possible!!

I started in 2004 at 240*ish* pounds, I reached my goal of 135 in 2009 !! IT takes a loooooooooong time ...but you WILL get there, if you never give up!!!

*due to some life changes, and crap, I've gained some back.......however, i KNOW i can get it back off, and SO CAN YOU!!*

Anything is possible, as long as you keep reaching for it !!
  • It is possible! I know you can do it! :) Stay motivated and keep pushing.

Wow you did!?!?! I have been stuck at 187 for about 3 weeks now and I am of course frustrated by it. but I have stepped up my workout. I would love to be 135. It is my end goal, that I really badly want to reach

    Sure it's possible....

The Biggest Loser this season lost 220 pounds. and the person in 2nd place lost 202 pounds. In 7 months. Granted, that's not real life, most of us have jobs and family/life obligations that keep us from focusing on weight loss 24/7 but the point is IT IS POSSIBLE! Who cares how long it takes us? It's about the journey and making small changes we can live with...it's not a race to get there like on BL.

I did see how much he lost! I started watching it early on, and i couldn't believe in the end how well he looked! I think that is the issue in my brain just like everyone on here, you want it to happen fast. right now my goal is to be 150 by June because my hubby and I are going to Vegas for my 30th. I just cant seem to break this stupid plateau i have hit

It is possible...though going too fast would mean getting them back. Consider that somewhere on the journey, you will already be satisfied and losing weight will become fun rather than effort oriented...my dreamed ever objective was to reach 68kg but I was already very happy at 75. I went to 68 for a couple of days (fasting was the only way) but all my family became worried so I went back to 75...then 85...now 95 and I am on my new journey back to 85. I will stick there for the rest of my life with the help of mfp

To break your plateu and continue seeing a nice weight loss, have one spike day a week at 2800 calories. Leave your other days at 1410 and don't eat back exercise calories.

Because no matter how much you believe you can, if you cut off your limbs, you can't grow them back!

    (Sorry, just couldn't resist!)

I was going to make the same comment. It's not cliche or a stock answer.... it is truth. Therefore, tt is not up to me to tell you what is possible.... it is up to YOU to tell me what to expect from you.

    Keep on ............ believing!

Sounds perfect! I like to do mine on Saturdays. It is a little scary at first but it will work.
