Trying to lose weight with 1500 cals a day 5-6 45 min workouts a week. I do fine but I get nauseas if I dont eat enough and 1500 doesnt seem to be cutting it....should I up my cals, or is that my body trying to adjust?

Listen to your body, 1500 is just a number. The more in-tune with your body you can be the better off you'll be in the long run, IMO.

Maybe you're more active than you think, or your calories need to come from different less complex foods. I haven't looked at your diary though.

I'll take a look at your diary and see if I can identify any areas to improve on. Otherwise, listen to your body, and maybe eat back more exercise cals

ETA: ruh roh! Someone hasnt been logging *shakes finger*

haha very true....I know I havent been logging lately lol didnt u read my post...today is a new day lol
  • I would most definitely increase to 1800cal per day. That is still a weight loss amount, especially with that amount of exercise, and because you are still youthful. Eating 1500cal a day can trigger a starvation mode because it is truly a very low amount of calories, whereas 1800cal can keep your metabolism at a higher rate while still consistently losing weight and probably feeling better while doing it. :)

And today looks good so far, but dinner is very light. It looks like you front load your calories, which many people do.
