I feel like I am eating to much trying to eat my daily calories... I have had problems with EDs when I was a teenager... And for the last few years I have no problem skipping meals. I just never feel hungry.. I have went days without eating anything... I know its not healthy I just don't feel hungry... my diet would completly consist of mt dew.. Could this be why I am stuggling so bad to lose weight? someone please help me.. I am lactose intolerant I don't like seafood of anykind.. I struggle so much with my diet..

You're not alone, sister. Don't give up. The first thing you need to do is write down what you do like. Cut out soda, it's terrible for you. Try diet at first and then go to flavored seltzer and then to plain seltzer with some lemon or any other citrus juice squeezed in it. Now as far as you not being hungry, that could be because you let your body think that the one meal a day is all you're going to get and then it's fine. When you start eating, you're going to gain weight at first and this is natural because your body isn't used to it. When you sit down to a meal, try to cut in half what you think you should have and I bet the calories will go down and you'll be able to eat more per meal and you'll make your calories. You need to eat to lose weight. If you crave sweet, eat a sweet potato with nothing on it. I bring one to work every day and put it in the microwave for 5 minutes and cut it in half and share it with a coworker. Half is 81 calories. Hope this helped!0

Make one change each week instead of trying to overhaul everything at once. Start with your eating habits. Maybe make a goal to eat 4 times per day. Give it a week and add something else. Maybe make it a goal to have some type of protein or veggie at least twice a day. Then set another goal. If you drink 5 cans of Mt. Dew per day, try for 4 instead.
I'm sure you want everything to change overnight, but the healthy (and more successful) way to do it is slowly. You got this!0 -
Thanks guys.. this was a lot of help.. I am trying to remember I need to eat more often.. I am also cutting down the soda. so far i have just been doing little things and journaling them and slowing starting to try to get working out in.. yes I do wish I could just wake up and be at my goal weight. I know that isn't how it works. just so hard to work so hard then gain.. I lose my motivation and stregnth really easy.. I think this group is really going to help me...0
