Is there still room on this challenge?

I don't think I have ever been seen out of the water in a swimming costume. I usually do a bit of a dance with my towel to the side of the pool and then back to the changing rooms. I would like that to change next year.

I posted my stats and messaged the leader of the group to join this challenge nearly a week ago, and I have heard nothing. I am guessing the challenge is closed. It seems odd to close a challenge so far in advance of the beginning date, but maybe it was because the large response was unexpected?
