I started eating these a couple weeks ago and the first day i got horrible cramping and awful gas, thought it might go away after eating it for awhile but it hasnt. Should i stop eating it or will my body adjust?

Sometimes when your fiber intake increases significantly, it can cause stomach cramps & gas. It should go away as your body adjusts. There's always the possibility that you could have a food sensitivity to the oats. If you eat other kinds of oats without problems, then it's probably just a fiber issue. You could try eating smaller portions and ease into more slowly.

BTW, I LOVE steel cut oats myself and eat them several times a week.
  • Me too, I love them tho. I make them in the crock pot the night before so I have a whole weeks worth but I still have the same issues and it doesn't get any better for me?????

Thank you i guess its just the fiber, bc i love oats of any kind and used to eat just the regular kind before i tried the steel cut ones and never had a problem before.
