Do whole grains bother your stomach ?

I don't want to be indelicate, but it seems as though I can't really digest whole wheat or other (dark) grains. Is that ... weird ?

No. The opposite. whole grains are fine, but I can't digest white bread or pasta well.

Check the amount of fiber. I can't eat anything with more than 2 or 3 grams of fiber per serving. If I do, my stomach gets all grumbly, bloated, gassy, etc. I cannot tolerate too much fiber.
    Just a thought.

Yes they do. I never adjusted as many people claim. I get bloated when I have a really high fiber meal. Some grains are worse than others.

Are you drinking enough water? Your body has to get used to the fiber so give it some time and make sure you drink lots of water. I often have 30 grams of fiber in a day with no digestive problems.

Maybe it's not the grains but another food sensitivity like gluten intolerance?

Too much fiber at one sitting bothers my stomach not the whole grains.
