As many of you know I've been doing this for some time now but I have never purchased a food scale.
It seems a little bit silly this late in the game to bother but there are little things that drive me nuts like weight of a homemade slice of bread.
My guesses seem to be pretty good but for curiousity sake I want to know for sure.
Can anyone reccomend a cheap but reliable scale?

I just got a cheap digital one at Target. It wasn't that much money and it's a GREAT tool to have. It couldn't have been more than $15 I think.

I bought one that has a dial readout for $5 at Bed Bath and Beyond. It works for the little things like you are talking about.
