It's hard to believe

The Dr. wanted me to cut my sodium intake to 1500 instead of 2500. It is almost impossible. Everything has to be fresh, no canned, most frozen, most anything. Is anyone else on a restricted salt intake? It seems I might be able to do it, but I'll probablly be eating a lot of the same foods over & over. I spent some time in the store yesterday to check sodium contents & I was really surprised. I don't understand how fresh things have sodiun in them, but it says there is. Im willing to cut calories & you still can get some good foods but the salt thing is something else. If a recipe has more than a few items, I hate to make it. I eat chicken, fish, & other healthy things, but it's steaming some veggies to eat with, glass of milk, & a fruit. I'm trying as hard as I ever have to lose weight, but this sodium thing threw a new wrinkle to watching what you eat.
