I have both. I started with the first and bought the second as soon as it came out. I loved the first one, but found that I couldn't see all of the moves. The second is much better -- I can see the feet, there are options to learn moves. It is also motivating. I keep trying to get all 5 stars in every workout and ever individual song.

It does track your calories burned for you -- I believe it does it through the wii movement, and when you input your weight. It does tell you that the more active you are in the workouts, the more calories you burn. I have seen that doing the same individual song I can burn 40-60 calories based entirely on how much I work. Of course, I want to get a heart rate monitor to see how accurate that is. I do find myself sweating within the first 2 songs.

I was using zumba 2 almost daily, but now do something else as well, and have decided to do it 3-4 times a week instead.

    ummm.... anything else?
