New To this and need LOTS of help and support.. please

Hi I'm a 31 year old mother of 2 great girls but I HAVE to get this weight off! I need so help and advise. I have a family that doesnt support me in any way so anything will help... reciepes anything will help. I'm giving myself 5 months to lose 30 pounds... I can do it !

    Feel free to add me as a friend. I'll be as supportive as I can. It's hard when you first start out, especially if you have no support. MFP is fantastic, I have met some wonderfully supportive people here. Good luck on your journey!
  • Just joined myself today, and we can do this. and we will. me too feel sometimes so alone and everyone just keeps saying well Nellie you need to lose the weight. ok I do understand that and I knowwwwwww. I can see myself and feel it. but support me or guide me or do something just don't tell me lose weight. I can relate to you hon and we will do this. you are not alone. I'm here with you.

    Welcome to MFP, you have taken the first step on the road to a better you. Establishing a reasonable goal and setting a deadline is great. You can add me if you would like, you might also try going to the group section and searching for keywords that fit the type of support group you desire {Your State; Mother; Unsupportive Significant Other}.     Oh Girl... You GOT this no problem. We are here for you. Clean your diet, Get the junk out! Set up your cal counter and remember this is NOT rocket science. Burn more than you take in. ( But take in the right amounts.) Dont undereat because it's as bad as overeating. and I personally spilt my cals this way. Big "correct" breakfast for fuel/Energy then medium lunch then easy on supper. Lastly, 6 hrs min 8 hrs preferred sleep time. this is your healing time and you will actually lose weight while you sleep.. All that being said, this works for me, and I am a man, so research all the tools available here and use us all! We are here for you as well. Feel free to add me as a friend if you like.     It's very important to be honest with yourself. Make sure you log everything you put in your mouth and any exercise you do. I find if I'm honest I can look back and see where I screwed up or where I did my best and you will see what works for you also. Everyone loses weight differently. Good luck and we are here to encourage you and support you! We will be your family.
