Hi
you guys have been so great so far so im going to exploit you a little more..lol
Can you please give me some tips on making smoothies but not to complicated.
Ie:
300 ml skim milk
100 gram strawberrys
100 ml plain yoghurt
and this is where i need advice. what can i add in for satiety to keep me feeling full. obviously the above is healthy but i also want it to maintain me throughout the day
any recipes or tips would be much appreciated. Thanx

a few people have pointed out meal replacements are not sustainable and good habit forming so i thought this might be better/easier/healthier so any advise would be appreciated.0

I think you already said the perfect recipe:
just use any fruit instead of strawberries (banana, raspberries, blueberries...)
I also like to add a bit of honey and vanilla..sometimes cinnamon is also good.
If you want a dairy free one, use ice and water or low cal juice
frozen fruit works best to keep the smoothie cold - buy it on sale and freeze it (cut off stems and cut in half before you freeze)0 -

i must say i tried the below and felt very full and satiated
300 ml skim milk
40 gram muesli
1 tsp honey
80 gram bulgarian yoghurt
5 strawberrys and half a carrot.
Was a bit bland so was thinking of adding another spoon of honey and taking it down to 30 gram of muesli.
If i may ask why avoid strawberrys?0 -
or do you mean just keep changing fruits?0

Try a green smoothie . Add a handful of spinach leafs to your smoothie. That will help you feel full and give you some veggies. I personally HATE veggies so I sneak them into my smoothie. You can't taste them, promise ...except celery. I added celery once and I could taste it and it was awful.
My smoothie today:
2 handfuls of spinach
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 whole banana
1 cup plain yogurt
1/4 or so cup of water
Blend and enjoy.0 -

You're welcome. There are endless combinations and they are pretty easy to prepare without breaking the bank. I use some fresh fruits and veggies but I also use frozen fruits and veggies to help keep a stock without having to worry about food going bad and getting wasted. I can keep a larger variety this way . Good luck to you.0 -
