  • If you're talking about water it is 1/4 cup.
  • 1 cup = 8 ounces, so 2 ounces is approximately 1/4 cup. You may want to invest in a food scale if you are trying to eat/measure food by weight. :ohwell:
  • just trying to add my pasta and its only showing as ounces

Or near enough to 60g if you want the weight. I work on about 30g = 1 oz.
It's not absolutely accurate, but close enough for me.

And 8 oz = 240ish ml, just under a standard Aussie cup measure of 250ml, so 2 oz is about 1/4 cup of liquid.

fluid oz 1/4 cup, if your trying to measure dry ingredients, it depends on what your measuring I know brussel sprouts are about a 1/2 cup for 2.5 oz

pasta and rice can be tricky cause it can drastically change when cooked, if you have measuring cups make sure you are using a dry cup. It can make a pretty big difference.
  • i figured it to be around 400 calories... ouch! lesson learned

once this food settles, time for cardio!

    2 oz of what food/drink?
  • I have installed a conversion app on my ipad for this very reason. Also handy for converting Kilojoules to Calories (note dietary calories are different from mathematical calories). I noticed that some of the foods in the database have the Kilojoule number entered instead of the calorie so I always check.

Ounces of liquid is 1/4 cup... ounces of a solid is a weight measurement - you'll need a food scale for that...
