can you check to see if the person is on facebook?0

PM me, I'm good at tracking people. You don' t know whose it is, but you know it isn't yours. You're right to try to track the owner.0

Turn it in to the police. They will take care of it from there...0

It is nice to read about an ethical person (that would be you, wallet-finder). I agree; take it to the police.0

I would try to contact the person thru there bank or credit card company or try finding a number for the person. they may be visiting framily for christmas. Do the honest thing try your best and good things will happen. Wishing you a very merry Christmas! I once dropped my wallet outside a 7/11 when it was crazy snowing drove all the way home and was confronted buy a bunch of teenages in a car who had followed me home in the snow to return my wallet I was totally grateful and they made my christmas I will never forget that act of kindness.Cheers!

Try to contact the person yourself, if it is possible! If not police.
I think it's really cool that you are willing to return this to the owner, who knows what the background story of this person is and for all we know, it might be the last 300 bucks he has for a while.0 -
Police, that way if it's a creep you're not involved.
If it were me I'd throw away all the strip club cards first though lol0 -
What would you want your child to do? Just hand it in to the police intact, as you found it.0

The police can find who it belongs to along with an address within minutes.
As for those stripper cards, I'll PM my mailing address to you. :drinker:0 -

take it to a police station0

If they have an out of state ID, they could be military or a military dependent - there are tons of 'em in Cali! Or maybe its just some poor guy out here on vacation who can't fly back now because he has no ID.
Maybe try to look up the name/address on whitepages.com and see if you can find a number to call? Someone else mentioned facebook - that's a good idea too. If nothing else, drop it off at the police station.0 -
Definitely turn it into the police.0
