does anyone have one that they totally dislike? mine are egg nog and plum pudding. and fruitcake. *shudder*

    I agree about Egg Nog! It makes me gag...

    I don't really like sweet potato anything either.

    Even when I ate meat, I hated gefilte fish soup. I could never get past the look of it - they were like little brains in a jar of jellied broth...blech.

    i forgot to add shortbread! my grandma makes it and after i saw what goes in it...no thanks. (SIXTEEN. POUNDS. OF. BUTTER.)

    I think eggnog and snot have a lot in common.

    Fruitcake is gross.

    I have never had figgy pudding, but that sounds nasty.

    Other than that, I love holiday food.

    The texture of stuffing just grosses me out and gingerbread makes me physically sick. But I love me some shortbread!

    I've never tried eggnog, fruitcake, cranberry sauce, most pies and likely never will :smile:

    However I love turkey, ham, candy canes, sugar cookies, and all the holiday chocolates/candies on sale at the grocery store :blushing:

    Hmmm.. well I've never had eggnog, but I'd probably like it.
    And everything else here sounds delicious (how could you not like shortbread, sure it has lots of buttter, but that's why it tastes so good.)
    With the possible exception of the soup that looks like fish brains, I've never heard of that but I don't think I'd like it, or Lutefisk - don't know that one either, but I'm not going to hunt it down!
