  • Hmmmm let me see ahhhhhh I am a caregiver and well its not the best job. It is not the job itself but the lack of pay and well we get abused. My dream is to be someone great that can make a difference. So I plan on getting a BS in Psy and apply to law school,Med school, or Psy program and see where the river takes me. So good luck :) with your dreams and goals.

I am working at a fast food "restaurant" and also as a party host (at a bowling alley).

My dream is to become a PT and am sarting my schooling for it next year :D
  • I've been there myself...nothing worse than not enjoying your work!

I'm a registered nurse but right now I'm a stay home mum to my 3 kids. Nursing is very fulfilling for me but In the time I've been home with my kids I've been studying nutrition and am about to embark on an advanced diploma in nutritional medicine! I'm very interested in staying in the health care system because helping people is really rewarding for me. I'm just taking a slightly different route to the general nursing.

I hope you find something you love :-)

I work in software development, mainly in financial services, though have dabbled with other sectors.

The tech is fun (sometimes) but the subject matter is usually tedious and the regulation in FS is so stringent these days, that you can't do anything creative (just prescribed and usually wrong).

The money can be good though.

So unless you love tech, stay away :)

I'm just collecting beans until I can afford to go do something I enjoy but without the financial constraints.

I'm a teacher aide. :D The pay isn't great but the rewards are.

I work in a small school and so my job is specialised to tailor for a certain few children who need a lot of extra work. Their progress throughout the year, attributed to my programs and working with them, is phenomenal.. They are my extra babies that I take home with me. It's a job that really makes my heart happy. :)

I'm actually currently considering doing special needs teaching... but I will see.

  • I am a HR manager for a Pawnbroking company, I kind of fell into Human Resources a few years back when I was made redundant from a Recruitment Consultance role and landed a job as a HR Administrator.

My passion is either Wedding Planner or Interior Designer, I love to make things look pretty and this would be my dream job. Unfortunately due to the recession it's too risky for me to set up on my own but maybe one day... If there is anybody out there...!

I am still a student, but my current goal is:

Marry a chinese guy and move to china.

Be a housewife for a couple years while i write books by candlelight as well as hon in on my psychic abilities.

Become a cult writer and guru.

Spend my fortune saving children and animals, and then enjoy life with my husband.

I think choose what you love to do, and just do it...things will fall into place as long as you work hard and are a good and positive person. :D

    Good luck!
  • I am an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and Architectural Photographer for a Construction Design Company. I am currently in the last few months of my first part of my double Master's. I'm finishing my MSc in Quantity Surveying in June and then a few years before I finish my MSc in Civil Engineering.

I currently help manage the company and the sites, but I will be going further by looking at managing projects for developing new energy and waste management facilities.

Prior to this I was a Political Analyst and Journalist for 15 years, including 5 of those years as a music journalist. I also competed as a sponsored fighter for 5 years before retiring and moving on to my new love - rock climbing.
