I am currently in a 32 jean.... but am curious to know what size that would be in the smaller sizes... ie. then 5, 7, 9 12, 15... does anyone know?

I think this is correct. I'm a little over a 29 waist and my 8's are getting baggy.

but what department are you looking into?
    Juniors? smaller sizes
    misses? medium
    Womens? larger sizes
a size 8 in any of these are completely different.
I long to be an 8 Jr. again. :ohwell:
I.m an 8 misses right now and that puts me around a size 12-13 jr.
I wish they would get their S%* T together and just make one standard of sizes and stop changing them every year. Cause you know that 8 I used to be, probably was a lot bigger than an 8 of today, and also the low cut on all the JR. clothes would leave the crack of my A*** way out there.......and NO BODY wants to see that!!!!!
