i was looking into purchasing one of these monitors, but wasn't sure if they were worth it or not. Also, do you have to pay a monthly subscription w/ this one..i've found others online that you have to have a subscription for.

Hi. I had one of the body bugg's. I bought it last year and honestly, I wore it for about a week. My arm was irritated from the strap and that was ok, but the size of it was just way to big. I didn't like everyone staring at my arm So I ended up selling it on eBay and now they have come out with a smaller version. But I decided the best thing for me, was a HRM which I just got a few weeks ago and love. And logging in my calories here And yes, there is a MO subscription. I believe the first few months are free but after that it's a subscription fee.....
Hope that helps0 -
My girlfriend was just talking about this yesterday. She just got one. She has to pay like $100 for six months I think she said. (it might have been 3 months) From what she was explaining to me, I would rather have a HRM.0

I think they look really interesting and there are a lot of people who wear them at my gym but I can't quite get over the having to wear it on my arm ALLLL DAAAAY long! I would imagine that it would cause some sort of skin irritation for sure!
I love all the information you can get from it tho.....0 -
Just thought that I would update you on my friend. I talked to her last night and she absolutely LOVES it! She said that it doesn't bug her at all to have to wear it all day.0

I have found discussion about gowearfit (I guess it's the same thing, or very similar to bodybugg) here:

I bought one myself a week ago, and so far I like it very much. It is too early to tell for sure, how accurate it is, but I hope, it will make it easier to get the right calorie deficit. You do need to subscribe for software access (first three months are free). I did not like the nutrition part of their program though - that's why I do it here.
Hope it helps0 -
I've been wearing the epulse, but only during workouts at the gym and when I'm doing housework at home. I like that you don't need to wear a chest band. It tracks your heart rate and the calories burned and lot's of other things I haven't used. I bought it on amazon and it doesn't require a subscription.0
