Question for Gluten Intolerant folks...

I have had horrible eczema on my eyes and finally got it cleared up pretty well. I stopped wearing a lot of eye makeup and nail polish ( odd but I read this) and combined that with a steriod cream to just get it under control.
Yesterday I baked choc. chip cookies with my kids with regular flour (didn't eat it of course) but was handling it a lot and it was flying around in electric mixer. A couple hours later one of my eyes ballooned up and the eye lids were red and itchy and back to crazy eczema!
I have to assume it was from handling the wheat and probably rubbing my eyes or just the dust in the air???
Has anyone else noticed this before?
In the past I was tested for wheat allergy and was negative. I also do not (supposedly) have celiac but I KNOW I am intolerant. Sometimes I start to think I imagine these things, but my husb was the one who brought it up.
Does this happen to anyone?

I don't test positive for Celiac, but i do for an intolerance.. for me, and my kids, its not so much about the tests, but we all feel better without it.. so we go without. good luck!0

I also have sensitivity to anything at all with wheat in it.. but also tested negative and its interesting you say that about the eczema cuz I have had similar problem with ocular rosacia and I have cleared it up avoiding wheat completely. this was after reading the book called "Wheat Belly" He talks about this in his book including eczema and acne.. My son had eczema for years and it is now gone COMPLETELY since I cut wheat out of our diet.. I find this amazing... I recommend you check out the book called "Wheat Belly" by Dr W Davis..0

I am a new person since cutting out eat wheat! I guess I need to stay away from touching it too!
I have heard of that book, but have not read it! I will look for it, thanks!!0 -
I have eczema of the foot and have nearly cured that since going low carb/paleo-ish. Any time that I take in more carbs/wheat than I am used to (which is low to none respectively) I get flare ups for a week until I get it under control again.0
