Hi yall im a fresh new face onto myfitness pal and i noticed that when i signed up there wasnt any options for breastfeeding. Im trying to loose the post baby weight but the thing is that im nursing my 6month old. He eats solids 2xs a day but about 90% of his feedings comes from me. How much extra is it? All this time instead of loosing weight ive been maintaining it. I want to loose weight safely yet still offer my child his nutrition.

Type in breastfeeding under the food log and it will come up as a negative calorie. There are a number of options to select from depending on how often you feed or how much.0

unfortunately it's hard to figure out how much you're actually losing since i don't exactly know how many ounces my son was drinking. i can't see it! haha but i just used whatever was in the system (search breastfeeding as 3dogs said)0

as if you're logging in food. type in breastfeeding and Breastfeeding 6-12month infant should come up. It'll log as 1 day and it's about -300 calories.0
