weights and weight gain

Does anyone else see a weight gain the day after weight training? maybe water retention?

I know your muscles retain water as they heal so that's probably why.0

water for sure weight can change from 600g plus just from water retention0

omg! this post was so timely!! i have been freaking out over a 6lb weight gain in the past 3 days!!! I have eaten no different, but have been doing weights daily for the past month...could it "all of a sudden" cause weight gain? I know muscle weighs more than fat...but this is ridiculous. I tried to drink more water today...is that the right thing to do?? i feel a little better!!0

thanks for the replies, I've been running but added some weights to help increase speed and endurance and the next day (weigh in day) I lost zero pounds...so I tech. didn't gain but I'm trying to keep myself motivated so I don't backslide...thanks again0
