I joined about a week ago I've been tracking my water in terms of bottles, but I notice the description emphasizes the term cups. Have I been tracking my water consumption incorrectly?

Thanks so much in advance :)

I took it to mean actual 8 oz cups so most bottles would be at least two. Hope someone corrects me if I am wrong.

Your not wrong about 8oz cups. I actually track my water in onces when drinking and convert to cups on here.

I count a full water bottle as 2 cups of water.

This is what I did. I got my favorite water bottle/cup then I get a cup that measures 8oz and fill it with water. my favorite cup holds 16 oz so I just drink off that and don't worry about measuring anymore.

Just do the math on the oz in your bottle if it is easier that way for you.
My bottle is 50.7 oz - which is about 6 cups. So if I drink the entire bottle & 2 more glasses of water, there's my 8oz for each day.

That is what I do and I have a 24 oz. bottle I count as 3 cups.

It's going to depend on the size of your bottle... but 8 cups is about 2 litres (no idea what that is in old fashioned numbers!)
8 bottles of water a day is probably going to be a bit too much!

I count it as 8oz. I always drink my water out of a cup that holds 16 oz so I count that for 2 cups of water.
