Hi,

I am looking for quick, easy, and yummy low carb breakfasts. I work in a office and usually am pushing it to the max in the morning. Any good breakfasts you guys and gals can offer?

Thanks,
Kins!

Not sure off the top of my head, but I do keep hardboiled eggs on hand in the fridge. I only eat the white, but it gives me a bit of protein that, along with even a carby breakfast, helps keep me full longer.

Frozen fruit smoothies are quick even though they're carb-y....but it's complex carbs! I put random frozen fruits like strawberries, peaches, blueberries, pineapple, etc in the blender, with half a banana, then pour in juice (I use tropicana light because it's only 10cals for 8oz, and low carb) and blend. Throw in protein powder for extra long-lasting fullness. Voila! Yum!
  • a banana and an oz of roasted almonds ( about 23 almonds) very filling good for you too!!

You can make them ahead of time and reheat. Low calories, full of protein. You can substitute in whatever meat you like. They're delicious!!!

Cheese, nuts, deli sliced turkey or chicken. Eggs, of course. I drink a protein shake every day that's low carb. I don't add any fruit to keep it low carb/low sugar.

Breakfast #1 for me is a protein smoothie on the drive to work. In the blender I do a scoop of whey, pineapple, scant cup of water and a little coconut extract. That is a great on the go breakfast, although not low is carb if you are including fruit in low carb.

Breakfast #2 is really low carb. Cup of spinach and a half a cup of egg whites with a little mrs. dash. Pop in the microwave for 2:30 or until cooked. I make that every day at work.

Crustless quiche. Make in advance, pop in microwave.

Also, cottage cheese & salsa with a side of pre-cooked bacon.
