Ok so I have had a few of these from cool comments to buying smaller clothes but this one is the first one I have wanted to post about...Ok so I realized the other day that I am now about 10 lbs lighter than I was when I got married and it made me wonder what my dress would look like now. When I bought it I was a size 16 and it was a 14...how is that possible you ask? Well the top is a lace up corset in the back so I had room to play with. I had to slide it on over my head cause the waist would not go over my hips at the time.....WELL, yesterday I was able to STEP into it and pull it up! Yay! I had Tim lace it up and take some pictures for me and you can see that the laces are even able to be tied tighter! I think I look tons better in it than the day I got married. My arms even look better, well I think anyway...I'm so excited! I am going to have a friend of mine go with me and take some pictures in it next month....I have not decided yet but they may be "trash the dress" pictures...we will see! Any way so here are the side by sides....tell me what you think!! (and don't look at the messy hair and no make up in the new ones:))

    Pretty dress and you look good in it at both weights. But, yeah, better now. Only trash it if you don't think you'd want to let someone else enjoy it someday. I was thrilled to be able to wear my mom's lovely wedding dress when I got married.

    you look awesome - don't know how long you've been married - maybe a renewal ceremony instead??? or save the dress for your daughter / granddaughter....:flowerforyou:

    You look awesome before AND after - but wow! The AFTER is even MORE awesome! Great job! I think maybe you should save the dress though - you might regret it some day if you don't! :)

    So funny, that's my wedding dress :) I bought it two years ago (2 sizes smaller than I fit into at that time). And we've now set a date of 12/13/13..... so I've got two years to lose the weight and get my butt into it! I'm hoping that I'll lose enough to have it taken in a bit too :) You look beautiful! (in both pictures, and you can see the difference) Trash the dress will be so fun, I'd love to see those pics!
