Recently I've been getting Leg cramps (Charlie horse) really bad; It's all around my knee's and different areas in my thighs and below my knee's! Does anybody know how I can help it as it is really stopping me from doing my exercise and other daily things?

How is your potassium intake? Apparently a banana is great for cramps...still need some proof whether it is true or not but worth a try. If it is in the joints then you should look into manganese supplements and fish oil.0

Increase your potassium and drink lots of water - it's probably dehydration! I get these in the summer when I'm working a lot (i have a physical job) or if I've had too much alcohol (just being honest) and surprisingly sometimes when I drink neocitran (lol).
Eat a banana and drink more water! You will be cured!0 -
I take potassium supplements. You'd have to eat 9 bananas or 3 1/2 potatoes per day to get the MFP recommended potassium in your diet.0

Agreed, I grew up with leg cramps all the time. sometimes id jump out of bed from the pain. i still get them but not as often. i take potassium pills when they start acting up. it helps a ton.0 -

If my memory serves me, to much coconut water with give you very loose stools, so be careful with that.
You can look online for a list of foods that contain potassium. Potatoes are a good source as well as bananas. You can also look into low calorie sports drinks. They have potassium and will help with hydration. Just be careful how much potassium you intake. To much can lead to kidney problems as well as mess with your heart.0 -
