I’m struggling this year on what to get my co-workers for Christmas!
I have 5 co-workers. 3 are women, 2 are men.

Who has good ideas for office gifts?

I keep it basic and give either Dunkin' gift cards or scratch tickets. Not great but simple

Barnes & Noble, iTunes or Amazon GC's. You can get them at grocery stores, CVS, and Amazon has free overnight weekday shipping. Pretty much everyone has use for one of them. I'm giving B&N GC's to the kids' teachers, with homemade lace bookmarks.

Gift cards all the way. They're just coworkers, so it doesnt have to be super personal

Gas gift cards. How much do you spend? If it's not a lot you could make each a little gift bag filled with goodies like candy, socks, chapstick, beef jerkey and so on. I've given out wine, honey from a bee farm, jerkey from the best meat place in town and so on. Given a reciepe and the ingrediants. I like homemade gifts.

TJ Maxx and probably other places too have the really cute note pad sets that are nice for the office. Also those new ceramic coffee mugs with lid and gift card for a coffee place if they are coffee drinkers. Or a nice scarf maybe?

I buy them "lifesavers" candy and put them in a pretty box and buy everyone lunch (take-out)....they seemed to like it!

Back in the day, I would've agreed. However, now that I have kids with teachers, the trend for the teachers is to tell us not to bring crap into the classroom, because it tempts THEM too much to eat it. I would steer away from giving food these days.

A humerous book.....Bookstores have a humor section, and it is usually easy to find one that anyone could enjoy

Thank you everybody for your ideas. I will most likely steal one of them.
I just thought of this, but I am not sure that I will have time to do it

    Honest opinion here, please….

I took this photo of the city in November on my way to work (it’s not altered at all)
I was thinking about printing & framing it for my co-workers. Is this a dumb idea?

  • I made a batch of cookies for everyone in the office. They were delicious- Nutella Chocolate Chip cookies... Everyone loved them :)
And oh my goodness, that picture is amazing. That would definitely be a cool gift!
