Hey guys and gals. My son wants to take me to Outback for my Mother's Day dinner. I've got two things on the menu on my mind. Can anyone help me with suggestions, substitutions, etc.? I'm thinking about the Grilled Chicken on the Barbie without the BBQ sauce or the Fresh Tilapia with Lump Crab meat. I'd also like the house salad, no croutons, of course, and dressing on the side. So far today I've eaten a mini bagel with 1 egg. My daily cals is 1200.

Thanks in advance and all you moms out there have a blessed day!

Either choice is healthy and good tasting. Opt for vegetables instead of rice or fries. Sounds like you have a good plan. Things go smoother when there is a plan in place. Happy Mother's Day and enjoy.

Victoria centre cut filet with steamed veggies on the side. I saw this in an Eat This, Not That thingy.

Take the cheese & croutons off the salad and dressing on the side

Hey y'all! I'm back and it was THE BEST meal I think I've ever had, ever! I chose the grilled chicken without any sauce/topping, grilled veggies (better than chicken, almost) wanted more, house salad without croutons and fat free dressing on the side, and, quite possibly the best ever, baby green beans - grilled! Who'd of thought to grill baby green beans! I have to say, I'm proud of myself! I think I'm back on track. I did my Malibu Pilates and ran my treadmill this morning. I feel really great today. Besides the meal and exercise, this is without a doubt the best Mothers Day ever simply because my son survived and is alive. Best ever, second only to his birth.

You guys are the greatest! Thank you all for your input. I hope y'all Mothers Day was as great as mine!
