3pm cocktails

Serious question: is 3pm too early for a cocktail? My office is going out for an early holiday dinner. The place makes nice cocktails but I'm wondering if 3 pm is too early to have a cocktail. Thoughts?

If you wake up and have a drink first thing in the morning, that might be too early for a cocktail.
...but 3pm generally starts happy hour at a lot of places! Enjoy!0 -

eta: Sorry - you said serious question...
I'd say it depends on whether you have to go BACK to the office to work or not. If you are all cutting out early for a party - and won't be heading back until tomorrow - I say go for it!0 -
Your job wants to get the happy hour special  :laugh:0
