A few close friends I mine said if I'm losing weight I need to put more protein into my body... I'm okay with boneless skinless chicken... But a lot of other meat I don't eat... I'm not too big on eggs and cottage cheese... But I googled online protein products and I found the biggest loser protein powder and sometime of protein bars they have... Has anyone used those products? And what is the powder is it for shakes or something? Please someone help lol

I suck at eating the amount of protein I should so I use a protein powder, I just tend to mix mine with water and if I'm bored with it I'll add fruit (frozen or fresh) and sometimes some fruit juice just to change the taste a little. If you search about protein powders on here you'll find loads of ingenious people who have recipes for food using them and much better ideas of what to add with them for a drink then I do. I hope you find what you're looking for0

My fav protein supplements are Shakeology, Designer Whey, and Luna bars. They are all great ways to fill in! I dont enjoy eating eat myself. I also eat a lot of eggs and nuts.0

And kind of cheese is good, also skip the low-fat stuff. Milk has a lot of protein. I enjoy Carnation Breakfast Essentials. Its kinda high in sugar but packs a lot of protein.0

There is nothing magical about protein powder. It is just used for convenience or to help meet your protein goals. If you're comfortable with eating food post-workout, then eat food.0 -
My favorite protein powder is made by Dymatize and is their Elite brand in the Cafe Mocha flavor. I mix it with So Delicious coconut milk and it tastes like chocolate milk with a slight coffee aftertaste! It's so good and 24 grams of protein a scoop.0

There are a lot of different protein powders out there. Find one you like. If youre on a tight budget, go to walmart and get the Body Fortress Super Advance Whey Protein. They have a few different flavors and they are GREAT.. And at $17 for a 2 pound tub, you cant beat it. Prior to getting laid off from work I Used Shakeology, it was like $120. I used some others that were $50-$70. The Body Fortress is just as good IMO.0

I use protein powder after a workout - it's mixed with water or milk to create a shake.
My favourite is Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard 100% Whey. Lot's of flavours, and tastes great with just water.
110-130 cals per scoop
24g protein
1-3g carbs
~1g fat.0 -
I use EAS Whey protein powder. I put half a cup of skim milk and half a cup of frozen strawberries in my blender with one scoop and its awesome. It tastes like a strawberry shake! I use a single serve blender. Best thing that has ever happened to me! I love it!!!

I prefer to get protein from food but I do have a protein shake right after a weight lifting session. So far the best tasting protein shake I've had is Optimum Nutrition's 100% Whey Protein, double choc flavour. It's a whey isolate which means they don't add sugar or other garbage, it's just whey protein.0

I have an Atkins Dark Chocolate Royale protein shake after each workout0

Excellent advice. Whey protein is whey protein. I use the Body Fortress and it's just as good as the expensive stuff, without emptying your wallet.0 -

I alternate between the Pure Protein bars and shakes after weightlifting sessions. The shakes are really tasty and have less calories and more protein than the bars, but they are more expensive, so I save those for days when I have less calories to spare. If I have a few more calories in my daily budget I'll go for the bars.i eat a Pure Protein bar after each work-out. they are low in sugar and high in protein. i dont' know about the shakes, sorry.
