Hi

Struggling to find a decent recipe for my bread maker that is low fat and uses wholemeal flour I don't like bread that is too sweet the closest I have found is french bread but it is white not wholemeal.

Anyone know a recipe that they would like to share.

Thx

    hello

this is what I use at home with my bread machine (you can do this without it too)

    2dl water (hot)

2tbsp oil (flax seed if possible and if you're not pregnant!!)

    2 medium grated carrots

4dl multigrain flour or 3 grain flower

1dl rye flour (the real stuff!!)

    ½dl flaxseeds

    " dl sunflowerseeds

    1tbsp sesam seeds

    1dl raisins

    1tsp salt

    " sugar

    1½ tsp dry yeast

first put the liquids in, then flours, seeds and last salt sugar and yeast

I love the sound of your bread recipe. I'm going to try it today!

I know this may sound ignorant but what does dl stand for, I live in the US and am used to quarts, cups,oz's and such.

dL = decilitre, as in one tenth of a litre (cL = centilitre, mL = millilitre, uL = microlitre)
Look up "SI Prefix" for more.
