Lately I only been eating one meal, & drinking waters for like breakfast & lunch then going to the gym for like a hour & sometimes going for a 5mile jog, if I don't go to the gym. Is this healthy? Or am I supposed to eat more? Because my calorie intake been at like 896 - my exercising puts the net at like 369.

The 1 meal per day thing is perfectly fine, the 890 calorie intake isn't, unless you'd like to look like a raisin. Massive calorie deficits (read: eating too little) will cause excessive loss of muscle mass. You do not want this.

my exercising puts the net at like 369.

:noway: Add like 1800 calories to that meal and you'll be a-ok.
  • You need to eat more. 900 calories or below per day is dangerous...your body thinks you're starving due to famine or something and begins to burn calories even slower in order to conserve fat (it's an evolutionary trait). In fact, below 1200 calories for a prolonged period can do the same thing. It all depends on your height and body composition. A larger, more muscular person is going to need more calories than a smaller or less muscular person.

Try to at least meet the calorie goal that MFP has set for you. This doesn't mean you should eat an additional 400 calories if you burned that many exercising...if your goal is 1500 calories, for example, try to consume at least that many.

As for one meal per day, there's nothing wrong with that, but sometimes people find that eating several smaller meals throughout the day make it easier to stick to their diet. I suggest trying to eat three or four times a day. Space them out, like every three or four hours, if it helps. Another benefit of eating multiple times throughout the day is that it helps keep your metabolism going, since your stomach is always working to digest something. Think of food as fuel your body needs to work its best. You need to refuel on good, nutritious food in order to be healthy and function properly.

    Good luck!!

You absolutely have to eat more! Your body needs fuel. Why are you only eating one meal per day, just too busy?
