I love a good juicy steak but now that I'm counting calories I'm wondering what the best cuts are.
I guess it may not make a difference if I just limit my portions. Ijust hate bringing home leftovers from restaurants because it's never as good reheated.
I'm not really sold on the benefits of protein diets for weight loss. Doesn't seem very balanced to me.

I still have steak every once in a while but never at restaurants. The best steak is done at home by my hubby on our bbq
I worked in the meat department of a high end grocery store throughout university so I am pretty picky about my cuts. I love rib eyes but they are really fatty. So we usually get Top Sirloin which isn't that marbled and isn't that expensive, but is still really juicy. The thicker the better! If we really feel like splurging we get beef tenderloin0 -
Try Bison/Buffalo steaks. That's what we use now for ground beef and we have tried the steaks and they were Great!! They were very tender and had a lot of flavor!! I was amazed, they are very lean and less calories and still taste Yummy!0

Sirloin is the leanest cut.0

a new york strip is not gonna break the bank, especially if you have worked out that day:flowerforyou:0

I've heard bison/buffulo is great! Does it still taste like steak?? Or at least similair? I've tried ground turkey burgers and tacos, because everybody told me it's not that different, and I HATE it... ick!
