I love 'O Come, O Come Emmanuel' for Advent, and I love lots of Christmas carols: O Holy Night, We Three Kings, The First Noel, Hark the Herald, O Come all ye faithful etc. plus less well known ones we sang in my choir.
I don't really go in for christmas songs (I don't mind listening to them, but am less fond of singing them). I do enjoy my CD of very tacky old Christmas songs while I'm trimming the tree and making cookies etc. I like the crooners like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin etc. and Julie Andrews, Aretha Franklin - folks who could really sing!0 -
if you're into advent, it's a little late, but mike scott does a kicking On Jordan's Bank-]
