Choc/banana/coconut protein balls 15 serves 63cals 6P/4C/2F

100g banana casein (could also use other flavours obviously)
30g oats
1 medium banana
1tbsn coconut oil
1 tbspn cocoa
bit of splenda
enough water to turn to a paste
Mix up & roll into balls.

Then roll in dessicated coconut

2011%2B-%2B1

It's quite difficult to get them nice & round but I CBF as I figure they taste the same anyway

You could switch the coconut oil for rum extract if you wanted some rum balls but I don't really like them.

WHat is your favorite cocoa to use? I'm don't use it enough to appreciate if I'm better of getting something "better" than Hershey's

I use generic brand for my work mates & organic cacao for myself

And sorry, forgot to mention. You just put them in the fridge

I don't believe putting in the fridge before coconut would help the roundness. The mixture was REALLY sticky!

I get organic fair trade cocoa from Cocoa Camino...I don't know if it's available in the states though

  • these look delicious! i'll have to make them for Christmas dessert :)
  • These look good! Maybe wetting your hands a little with water will help keep the dough from sticking and making rolling them a little easier! I do that when i make mini cheesecake balls for appetizers! :)

I made a variation of these and they were amazing. I messed up the consistency a bit but taste = awesome.
