My name is Elizabeth, but I sometimes go by Ellie. I'm 19 years old, and started gaining weight at the age of 6, to get to where I am now.

It's thanks to my (ex) step-dad for that. He would fix me adult-sized plates and force me to sit and eat it all, and I couldn't get up until it was all gone.

When I did start gaining weight, he taunted me, saying I needed to live down with the pigs in the barn. We lived on a small farm.

So, I decided to start overcoming this.

Since September-October I have lost 23 pounds to date. 217 to 194. I haven't seen this weight in I don't know how long.

And now, I've hit a plateau.

I exercise like a mad woman! Crunches, sit ups, push ups, Just Dance (beat everybody's high scores), exercise bike, leg thingies, weights. But then again, I'm not eating mini-meals in between big meals. Could this have an effect, and the fact that I'm burning most of my calories taken in, by all my exercise?

Any suggestions on how I can continue to lose weight? Anything? LOL

I have went from 18-20's to 16-17's. I fit in 14's, but they don't button yet. *sigh*

Nice to meet all of you!

-Ellie

  • Thanks! :)
After having what I thought was heart attacks, which scared me, and ended up being panic attacks, I knew I didn't want it to lead to problems down the road. :)

    I'll definitely add you!!
