Is there a best time to exercise? such as right after you get up, or before you go to bed?
or is anytime the best time?

I have found that if I wait I will find things I "need" to do more. I try to soon after getting up. Sometimes I will get in a leisure walk with hubby after dinner that is nice, just the two of us.

not before bed, you will be up all night. I work out sometimes in the morning or after work. I try to switch it up so my body doesnt get used to my routine. But ultimately the best time is the one that works for you as long as you are working out.

the best time is NOW.

whenever it fits into your schedule and you will stick to it. I know I will not get up early to do it, so I snuggle in the mornings, and run after work. For some, after work, they would not do it then, so they maybe like to do it in the mornings.

whenever you like, and you will consistently do it is the right time!

I tend to do a brisk walk in the mornings (around 1 1/2 hour) In the evenings i tend to get tired and not in the mood for exersise, so i get it over and done with in the morning.

I guess it would all depend on when you can fit it in. It seems if I wait until after work I am just to tired to go but I have found out that I do better before work very early in the morning, also it gives me tons of energy which is a plus and also I am not over eatting.

I too don't think it matters as long as it gets done. I do mine at night, most times at midnight. Whenever I get everyone settled and have time for myself I take that time for my work out. I don't have any trouble sleeping afterwards. I work out on my elipitical, then cool down for a few minutes, get ready for bed, and it doesn't take me long to get to sleep.

    Good Luck!

To me it's all about whatever time is best to keep a high intensity. I can't get up and have a high intensity workout- so I usually wait to either after breakfast time, or just before dinner because for me that's when it seems to be that my energy is peaking.
