My Wish For 2012
My wish for the New Year is to make people more aware of HVP and Cervical Cancer.........
In October 2008 I was told that I had Cervical Cancer caused by HPV.......I didn't even know what HVP was but now I am an expert(almost) on it.......Neither my GP or gyno gave me any info so I looked to Google......People thought I was crazy but I know I wasn't.....I needed to know what was happening to my body.....
On 1 December 2008 I had a total hyster which rid me of cancer but not HPV....I'm still battling HVP......
What is you wish for 2012?

My wish for 2012. Hm I could either wish for The Packers to win or a loved one.

It's so important that people know more about HPV. It's so common but not talked about nearly enough. Anyone sexually active needs to know that condoms are not a safety net from HPV. I wish you the very best in 2012 to be able to spread the message, especially to teens about it.0 -
Mine is for 2012 to be better than 2011, 2010, 2009..... I've had a massive run of bad luck since about 2000 if I can get to the end of 2012 without losing anyone close to me, without being dumped, and without having a breakdown that will suit me.0

You don't even need to have sex to get HPV.......I'm almost certain I got mine from my last partner.....I read somewhere that prostate cancer could be linked to HPV and guess who has had prostate cancer?.....
I'm actually thinking of buying some stickers and stick them all over the place.....Thinking of mainly just in the loos......Both women and men loos......Nope, I ain't scared to go into mens loos.....0 -
I am praying for you. I recently got my last HPV vaccination.
I hope to get an art educator job somewhere and start my adult life as a healthier me.0 -

The worst part about HPV is that there is no test for men to see if they have it........
Pap smears should be every year and not every 2 years......0
