An early Christmas present (with pics)

I received an early Christmas present today. I gave it to myself. I decided to check-in a day early because things will probably get hectic this weekend. And what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a number not seen in many a year. (Okay, that enough verse.) I have reached my current goal weight; a weight I didn't think achievable when I started this journey, a weight that is equivalent to the lowest I've seen as an adult and haven't weighed in more than 22 years. Yes, my ticker is all the way to right today, 80 lbs gone in about 7 months. It's been a lot of sweat, a little blood, and thankfully no tears. It's also been possible due to the fantastic support of all my friends here at MFP. Thank you and God bless you all.
Now, a little maintenance over the holidays and we'll see where 2012 takes us. I'm really looking forward to it with an odd resolution: eat more food. That will take a while getting used to.

    WOW!! Now that's a great Christmas present for sure! Good for you and thanks for sharing this -- I am just beginning and have a long way to go but seeing a success story like this is soooo motivating. Thanks and here's to 2012!
