I love the funny ones. ^_^ Here are some of my favourites:

Bruno's Christmas on the Mall -- Tom Chapin
The Night Santa Went Crazy -- Weird Al Yankovic
The Chimney Song -- Bob Rivers
Who Put the Stump -- Bob Rivers
The Restroom Door Said Gentlemen -- Bob Rivers
Chipmunks Roasting on an Open Fire -- Bob Rivers (sensing a pattern? =P)
Oi to the World -- No Doubt
The Man with the Bag -- Floyd Pepper (Muppets)
It Feels Like Christmas -- Muppet Christmas Carol soundtrack

Plus about half the soundtrack from the live action Grinch movie:
Better Do It Right -- Smash Mouth
    Green Christmas -- Barenaked Ladies
    Whoville Medley -- Transsiberian Orchestra
Christmas is Going to the Dogs -- The Eels
Grinch 2000 -- Busta Rhymes and Jim Carrey

I have some old standards in the mix too, if those are more your speed. ^_^ I'm pretty partial to Sleigh Ride, Jingle Bell Rock, and Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree.

I love 'O Come, O Come Emmanuel' for Advent, and I love lots of Christmas carols: O Holy Night, We Three Kings, The First Noel, Hark the Herald, O Come all ye faithful etc. plus less well known ones we sang in my choir.

I don't really go in for christmas songs (I don't mind listening to them, but am less fond of singing them). I do enjoy my CD of very tacky old Christmas songs while I'm trimming the tree and making cookies etc. I like the crooners like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin etc. and Julie Andrews, Aretha Franklin - folks who could really sing!

These are probably my two favourite modern classics.

But there's been some great new songs in the past couple of years:

Geraldine McQueen (a.k.a. Peter Kaye) - Once Upon A Christmas Song
The Feeling - Feels Like Christmas
Hurts - All I Want For Christmas Is New Year's Day
Gabriella Cilmi - Warm This Winter
Pet Shop Boys - It Doesn't Often Snow At Christmas
    Status Quo - It's Christmastime

I love listening to Christmas songs... gets me even more in the mood and I'm a BIG CHRISTMAS FAN
