Whats yours?

I was 13, just me and my brother, family was out of the picture. He'd been working his *kitten* off so i hardly saw him.
Christmas was always super special to both of us, so we made it a point to have the tree, the lights, the eggnog yada yada yada. Anyways, there was like 8 presents ranging in size all for me and 2 little gifts i got for him, i'd worked my *kitten* off mowing lawns and collecting cans to recycle. I got him a CD you cant find anywhere from his then hero, now with itunes and all its a cake walk, then back in like 2003 it was much harder. I also got him a some vintage notebooks to write all his ideas, poems, songs, etc. in so he wouldnt have to just write em in boring spiral notebooks.

Anyways, being the older brother he was, he spiked my eggnog with probably vodka, and on Christmas Eve told me to just rip open my presents. He got me so much cool stuff and i opened all of them. But i remember thinking, man, i opened ALL my presents! I wont have any to open tomorrow...then i passed out.

Wake up at like 10am christmas morning, he's sleeping, im slightly hungover, i stumble to go get some milk and holy christmas miracle batman!! The christmas presents have been restocked twice fold! So many, even the candy i ate off the tree was replenished also a comically staged cookie crumb trail out the back door w/ a broken milk glass.

Damnit i miss him.

Sounds like you had an awesome brother.

My favorite memory is when I was about 8 or 9 and Santa bought me a giant stuffed frog and a frog comforter and sheet and pillow case set. I was not a girly girl and this was the most cool thing I had ever recieved. I guess it was the feeling that my parents "got" me.

    Merry Christmas to all!
