      My friends and I played a game to exchange some inexpensive gifts, and I ended up with:

      a chopping board
      15 tea lights
      a scarf holder
      a photo frame (that was one I brought anyway)
      some weird little cat statues
      a dvd

      Not quite like Christmas with the family, but I was pretty happy we got some useful stuff :)

      I really hope when I'm home in January my mum will give me some presents!!

      I always ask for Yankee Candles and home fragrance refills. I got both of those, the annual black labs calendar and what I have wanted forever--a Kitchen Aid stand mixer! Woo Hoo!

      I got an Avenged Sevenfold hoodie that doesn't fit, which is kind of depressing but since I'm losing weight, it doesn't bother me too bad. Two Monster High dolls to add to the collection, two Baby Bullet food processors that we've wanted (we're debating returning one because they both have food containers we can use and the spare bullet will come in handy if the other one busts), $50.00 cash, $50.00 to JCpenny's, A Buffalo Wild Wings gift card, a nice shirt/pants.

      I'm honestly disappointed. I'm grateful for what they did get me, but it feels more slapped together than the gifts I received last year. I don't really like clothes shopping, my taste is jeans and t-shirts. And the nice shirt is something my grandmother gave me, but the way it's made seems like something a woman more...uh...her age... would wear.
