Pancakes! Help

I've lately been having the Fiber One Pancakes for breakfast with sugar free syrup. Sugar free syrup isn't good for you either (not that pancakes are either, but let's not take away all good things!). What are some ideas for toppings for pancakes and waffles other then syrup?

Hi there, I use buckwheat pancakes so I get all whole grains, no corn syrup, or sugar. U could use 2T of natural peanut butter which together would be great fuel for some inttense workouts!0

jam, jelly, or frozen fruit--I will microwave a handful of frozen berries until they are warm and soft--they make a kind of syrup
peanut butter sounds delicious!0 -
You can pretty much top pancakes with anything, depending on what taste you want, sweet or savory. I like fruit on mine but my fav is lemon juice and a pinch of raw sugar.0

chocolate almond butter? check out http://www.justinsnutbutter.com/
less sugar than nutella, still completely indulgent.
Personally, I would use natural maple syrup or honey. For me, natural sweeteners are best and when it's real you need less.
ETA: you can also take blueberries and heat them in a saute pan until they pop open. Add a little water, (or don't) or a little honey, (or not) and make your own fruit topping. Pour over pancakes and devour. You could use raspberries too, but you would def need a little sweetener.0 -

I like to add fruit to my pancakes. Peaches are my favorite. Then i will top with butter. Thats it. No syrup. And butter is not terrible for you in moderation.0

I like to smear a little peanut butter on them and then top with some sliced banana.0 -
I also use sugar free syrup "Maple Grove Farms" which is not sweetened with aspartame, but rather Splenda, so I'm fine with it. In fact, I really enjoy it.
My husband takes a little of Smuckers sugar free Strawberry Preserves (again, NO aspartame, sweetened with Splenda), heats it up for a few seconds in the microwave & uses that on his pancakes/waffles.
My Dr specifically said to look for things sweetened with Splenda rather than aspartame when you are shopping for sugar free items.0 -

Almond butter and apples is my favorite! I also like all fruit spread, or greek yogurt (chobani mixed with pumpkin pie spice and stevia is sooo yummy!)0
