I got the 30 day Shred as a holiday gift! I have been so out of it the past couple of weeks. I want to get some support with other people who want to start the 30 day shred in the next couple of weeks. I know there are some other groups out there, but they have so many members it is hard to keep track of. I want to limit this group to 20-30-if I can get any, lol. Please post and let me know if you are interested. I have never done this DVD before, so please giv eme some advice if you know it already!

  • Hey I just got this DVD also, and would love to have some feedback about it. I have heard wonderful things about it and am ready for a challenge.

I am currently doing it, i start level 3 today * yikes*...... I have to say that i haven't seen much for lbs come off, maybe about 2 lbs... but i have seen inches come off already. At the 2 week make i lost 1 inch of my hips, 1 inch of my waist and 1.5 off my lower belly.... none off my thighs but they are way more toned! I feel GREAT! i can see the difference already and that is motivation to keep doing it. I won't be able to finish the entire level 3 as we are off on holidays in 4 days but i'll 4 days worth and then when we get back mid Jan, i am starting the whole dvd over again.... this way there will be no interruptions :) I hope to get more results once i can complete the whole 30 days in a row!

it's intense the 1st few days and you will be SORE! I realized how out of shape i was even thought i did cardio 5 days a week..... Even after day 3 when i was super sore, i didn't take a break and rest. I pushed though it and i was glad i did.....
  • I received the 30 day shred for Christmas as well. I just completed workout 1 about 10 minutes ago! It was tough but I got through most of it. I am hoping to lose about 10-12 pounds before my wedding in August.
  • I am new to this site and would definitely be interested in joining a group for some encouragement! I just bought the shred. I hear it's touch but I am up for the challenge! Let's start today!

    Hi everyone,

I have just done day 4 of level one of the dvd. It's great so far!
I've been doing quite some strength exercises before so I don't find it too hard, but still it makes me sweat like crazy! It's great being able to quickly do it at home!
    Good luck to everyone!

I've been wanting to do the 30 Day Shred and my weight loss has been at a plateau for more than a month now, so adding something like this might be what my body needs to kick start some new slimming.
  • I completed the entire 30DS about 2 weeks ago. I only missed one day! When I first did Level 1, I thought "oh my gosh." But it got easy fast. I did that for 10 days, then moved on to Level 2 for 10 days (which was hard!), and then Level 3 for 10 days (which, was okay after finishing Level 2).

I didn't lose any weight, but I definitely felt better. I did lose inches too. I really like the workout because it was only about 25 minutes long, so I could do it in the morning before work.

I would add too, that if you have knee problems, this workout probably isn't for you. There are a lot of jumping jacks and knee lifts, etc.

    Good luck!

How many inches did you lose? Were you able to fit into a smaller size at the end?

I just started the 30 day shred today!! I would like to join a group! I walk everyday 3mph for 1 hour so I am not coming from the couch to the video however 1/2 way through level one I felt lightheaded, I was out of breath and my vision was cloudy. I stopped and felt better after sitting and drinking water then I did the cool down. I intend to start again tomorrow just wish I knew what caused that? I need motivation after today. Thanks

Even 12 minutes had my legs a little shaky, lol.

Wow. I just invited you. When I do workout that requires going up and down a lot I get dizzy. I haven't done the shred yet. I plan on doing it today after work. Does it require going from sitting to standing a lot? I heard the reason for this dizzyness is because our muscles are not developed and they are what get the blood moving fast, so when we stand up there is a delay in blood flow, causing us to get dizzy. Hopefully, once our muscles are more develped through this workout, we will stop getting dizzy!

I would love to join. I did it for about 2 weeks before, but then stopped. Not sure why, but would like to finish it this time.
